Stretching At The Airport

This years stop at Frankfurt Airport was very very special to me. I must have landed and departed from here so many times. It has been the place where I have started and finished many exciting adventures around the world, while saying emotional hellos and goodbyes to the loved ones I grew up with only a few miles away.

I am honoured to have been the face to promote the beautiful new yoga rooms at the airport.
There is one in Terminal 1 (Area C NonSchengen Level 2) and Terminal 2 (Area D NonSchengen Level 3).

I learned so much about the airport at these shooting days and yes, it was a very cold and super windy experience!
As I travel most months between London and Frankfurt, it is very handy for me to stretch out before my flight from Terminal 2 and the new yoga rooms are the perfect place to go.

On The Cover Of The Fitness Magazine

Shape Magazine October 2016Some of my German friends have already seen it, I made it onto the front cover of the fitness magazine, Shape. It also includes a DVD, showing me teaching some fitness related yoga routines.

Together with Asana Rebel we have filmed lovely yoga sequences for you to be able to do them at home.

Yoga With Me In Your Home

I wanted to share with you pictures from my photoshoot with Asana Rebel. It is the second time I have worked with these brilliant people and it’s always super fun and I am delighted with the results. Zeynep’s Secrets – Super Healthy Bulgur Salad

Today I want to share with you the recipe to a super healthy salad, known as Kisir.
Kisir is the Turkish name of the Bulgur salad and very popular in Turkey.
Bulgur is a form of wheat. It is low in calories and fat, rich in protein and fibre, rich in mineral magnesium and helps reduce weight.

This is what you need:

– 2 cups of Bulgur / wheat
– 4 cups of boiling water
– 1 cup of olive oil
– 1 table spoon of tomato and paprika paste
– 1 tea spoon of paprika powder
– 1 onion
– 2 tomatoes if you wish
– Parsley
– Spring onions
– Lettuce
– 2 lemons
– 1/2 cup of olive oil
– Spices & seasoning (salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin)
– Dill
– Mint

FirstBulgur Salad wash the Bulgur and add 1 cup of Bulgur into a bowl. Add 1 cup of boiling water to the bowl, close the lid and wait for 10 min.

Meanwhile start chopping the parsley, onion, spring onions, mint, and dill into little pieces.

After 10 min the Bulgur should have absorbed the water. Now you can start adding the tomato and paprika paste, lemon juice, olive oil, the spices and then all the greens which you chopped earlier.

Mix it all well with your fingers.

Now take one piece of lettuce and one table spoon of the salad, wrap it in the lettuce and enjoy!

My pregnancy classes include traditional yoga postures (modifieZeynep.Yogad for pregnant women), breathing and relaxation.

Private classes are perfect for women who do not feel comfortable in joining public classes or just have no time to go to a studio and prefer the comfort of their own home.
In private yoga sessions you would have the chance to ask questions, we will break down postures and you will receive personalised alignment instructions.

Zeynep teaches privately, covering all areas in London.
