Zeynep’s Secrets – Energy Boosting Smoothie

Zeynep.YogaSo many of my students have asked me in the previous year “What do you eat?”, “What do you have for breakfast”, “How many days do you practice?” etc.

I decided 2016 is the year to give you a little bit more insight into my life and share my secrets with you, how I stay fit, young and still look like 18 even though I’m 31! Yes, for those who didn’t know my age they have probably fallen off the chair already. 😉

This first video shows you how I make my very own energy booster smoothie for 2016! I absolutely love smoothies in the mornings as they give me all the energy I need for the whole day. And yes, I also love exotic fruits, I’ve probably tried all of them and can tell you how they taste like. 😉

All you need is the following (serving 2 people):

– Blender
– 1/4 of a pineapple
– An orange
– A lime
– 3 mini banana chiquitas
– 1/2 a mango
– 4 physalis
– Basil
– Parsley
– Cress if you have some (I used a beetroot cress from the garden)
– Organic milk (200ml)
– Moringa powder (2 table spoons)
– Chia seeds (3 table spoons)
– Passion fruit juice (50ml)

When you have chopped up everything, put it into the blender and give it a good mix. If you feel that the smoothie is too thick, you can always add a little bit more fruit juice in, depends on what you have at home. If you like it creamy, add some milk or cream.

When ready pour it into your glass, enjoy and feel that rising energy inside your body. Let 2016 be a healthy year full of energy!

Pregnancy Yoga with Zeynep

Zeynep.YogaI am so happy to announce that it is two months since I have been fully qualified to teach pregnant ladies and I am really enjoying it!
If you are pregnant and would like to book your private yoga session with me, please get in touch.

My pregnancy classes include traditional yoga postures (modifieZeynep.Yogad for pregnant women), breathing and relaxation.

Private classes are perfect for women who do not feel comfortable in joining public classes or just have no time to go to a studio and prefer the comfort of their own home.
In private yoga sessions you would have the chance to ask questions, we will break down postures and you will receive personalised alignment instructions.

Zeynep teaches privately, covering all areas in London.

Yoga is proven to be very beneficial for pregnant ladies:
– It helps developing strength,
– relieves tension in the lower back, hips, chest, upper back, neck, shoulders,
and calms the nervous system,
– helps connecting with the baby,
– is an amazing preparation for labor,
– meeting other pregnant ladies, sharing experiences,
– calming the mind, focusing on the breath, focusing on being pregnant,
– developing stamina and balance. 

I am looking forward to accompany you through this beautiful journey of pregnancy and birth.

What a roller coaster year!

2015 is over and I have only great memories! This year felt like a super roller coaster without ever slowing down.
I was very lucky to have hosted yoga workshops in London and abroad, presented for two big yoga channels, been part of many Hollywood films and met plenty of inspiring souls.

I would like to thank everyone who supported me on my path to get to where I am and to everyone who attended one of my classes. I hope to see you again next year.

Rocket Yoga Workshop in Frankfurt

IMG_7055Frankfurt is calling very soon!
I will be teaching a 2-hour Rocket Yoga Master class on Friday (16th October) and a 2,5-hour Rocket Yoga class on Saturday (17th October), focusing on inversions such as headstand, forearm balance, handstand (press & straddle) and much more!

The focus will also be on smooth transitions, such as floating/lifting from one posture to the other.
This workshop is not for beginners, you should have done a few yoga classes before and should not be pregnant. We will work with partners, we will sweat and have fun at the same time.

Friday: 7PM – 9PM
Saturday: 10AM – 12.30PM

Explore Rocket Yoga

If you were ever wondering what Rocket Yoga (developed by Larry Schultz) is all about, come to one of my classes and I will teach you some of the most important postures. It is fast paced, wakes up your nervous system and is physically demanding, but all levels are welcome, as there are modifications for each posture.

I’ve made it!

PeopleYoga Certificate who I meet sometimes say that there is nothing I haven’t done, but there was and now I am officially a yoga teacher!
